UW Medical Center - Northwest has an outstanding opportunity for a Full-TIME, REGISTERED NURSE in the OPERATING ROOM DEPARTMENT.

WORK SCHEDULE

•Full time / 40 Hours per week • Rotating/variable shift POSITION HIGHLIGHTS · Circulate and Scrub a variety of surgical cases · As a registered nurse (RN), you can be a part of this highly skilled team, working within a culture that is collaborative

Here, you will work in tandem with physicians and other health care practitioners to provide superior, nursing care PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES · Provide pre-, intra-, and post-operative care for surgical patients, a role that includes preparing the surgical site and equipment. · Assist surgeons during operations by providing instruments and managing patient needs, and monitoring patient recovery. · Act as a patient advocate, maintain a sterile environment, coordinate with the healthcare team, and provide patient education for recovery. · BLS and minimum of 2 years current general OR nursing experience with circulating in a variety of clinical settings required

Scrub experience is desired but not required.

REQUIREMENTS
