Overview Works under the supervision of the Registered Nurse, Charge Nurse, and the medical direction of the Emergency Department Physician Responsible for providing assistance to physicians and RN in the delivery of patient care to include invasive and non-invasive procedures: EKGs, IVs, phlebotomy
Demonstrates knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to age of the patient served in assigned department Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span
Collects data reflective of the patients status and assist with the interpretation of appropriate information needed to identify each patients requirements relative to age specific needs as described in the departmental policy and procedural guide
Emergency Technician will fill in as the monitor tech as needed.
