Options for Labor and Delivery include nitrous oxide, epidural anesthesia, surgical safety compliant with World Health Organization guidelines for cesarean births and more

On average, there are 150-180 deliveries per month, 10 beds with 2 ORs and a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:3.

About the Job

The Registered Nurse in Labor and Delivery participates in high and low risk intrapartum and antepartum women as well as receive women in transfer for high-risk complications of pregnancy

What You’ll Do: Embraces and promotes change to support optimal patient outcomes and an effective professional practice environment Involves patient/family in goal setting and planning, and communicates that plan of care to patient and family for input; and to colleagues to ensure seamless care across shifts and settings

Utilizes current evidence and relevant national/specialty standards to guide practice and/or performance and identifies areas for improvement Demonstrates competent clinical practice utilizing clinical decision making and critical thinking skills.

Who You Are
