Job Description

Position Title Ambulatory Clinic RN- Osawatomie Family Medicine Triage Days - Full Time Osawatomie Medical Pavilion Position Summary / Career Interest: Hours: M-F , 8-5:00pm

The registered nurse utilized the nursing process to coordinate the interdisciplinary approach to patient care Responsible for promoting and restoring patient's health by completing the nursing process; collaborating with physicians and team members; and providing physical and psychological support to patients and their families

Responsibilities

  • and Essential Job Functions Consistently meets work schedule. Demonstrates critical thinking utilizing all aspects of the nursing process. Maintains a safe environment for patients. Coordinates health care services with hospital, vendors, physicians offices and other institutions. Answers patient/significant others phone calls, evaluate patients needs, and triage patient care. Provides patient/family education using resources available. Acts as liaison between patient, significant others and health team members. Identifies area for professional growth. Participates fully as a member of the Patient Centered Medical Home Team.
