Part Time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Asst - ENT Clinic 101 Truman Medical Center Job Location University Health 1 (UH1) Kansas City, Missouri Department UH Clinic ENT UHTMC Position Type Part time Work Schedule 8:00AM - 4:30PM Hours Per Week 24 Job Description The Advance Practice Registered Nurse- Clinical Specialty provides an advanced level of care in collaboration with specialty physicians and other members of the health care team to a specific patient population

Maintains an advanced knowledge base and skill in the assessment and treatment of disease and management of health/illness where Clinical Specialty is a preferred treatment resource for patients

May perform specific diagnostic and/or interventional procedures under the supervision of the physician.

Minimum Requirements

Master of Science in Nursing from an Accredited School of Nursing Maintain current licensed as a registered professional nurse in Missouri Graduation and certification for Nurse Practitioner program; must maintain active certification Certification in specialty as approved by the Missouri State Board of Nursing for Advanced Practice may be required

Holds current Collaborative Practice Arrangement with the organization as a provider Current BCLS verification Demonstrates clinical expertise in area of specialty practice Demonstrates leadership ability 3-5 years clinical experience Current ACLS and must be maintained in a current/active state for continued employment when required by the department
