The therapist works as an integral part of an interdisciplinary team and treats patients both in the clinic and in the hospital The therapist orients new staff; mentors staff when appropriate and may supervise students within the respective discipline
Secondary to the Hand Therapist's certification, the CHT will be expected to adhere to the scope of practice associated with their specific discipline Job Requirements, Prerequisites and Essential Functions: Job Specifications:
Bachelors, Masters or Doctoral degree from an Occupational Therapy school, which has been accredited by AOTA’s Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE®) or that has been approved by the World Federation of Occupational Therapy or another nationally recognized accrediting agency
Applicant must also have active licensure through the California Board of Occupational Therapy (CBOT); California State, Department of Consumer Affairs Experience: Five (5) years of progressively responsible and directly related work experience
License and Certifications: Registered Occupational Therapist - The California Board for Occupational Therapy (CBOT) (OTR) required at hire Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) required at hire

The posted pay range complies with applicable law and reflects what we reasonably expect to pay for this role. Individual pay is set by skills, experience, qualifications, and internal/market equity, consistent with MarinHealth’s compensation philosophy.
