Description of Work The Certified Nursing Assistant I provides direct patient care and support in Department of Adult Correction healthcare settings under the supervision of nursing or other clinical staff
The position supports the health, safety, personal care, and daily living needs of patients or incarcerated individuals through routine nursing support, observation, personal care, and assistance with established treatment or clinical plans.
Equivalency Verification The State of North Carolina/Office of State Human Resources (OSHR) uses the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES) as a referral resource for applicants who need to have their credentials certified as equivalent
