What Youll Do:

The Psychiatrist role will direct, coordinate, and provide medical/clinical services to assigned individuals within the facility including but not limited to: Psychiatric evaluations and assessments, differential diagnosis, treatment planning, medication management, ordering testing, engagement, family meetings, supportive psychotherapy, individual education, risk assessment, and discharge planning

This role will also be able to provide support and direct clinical supervision to psychiatric nurse practitioners and physician assistants while on duty They will have an interest in supporting the quality of services provided throughout the organization by participating in quality improvement initiatives.

Authenticates student’s/residents’ documentation in the system. </li>

What Youll Bring:

<li>Doctorate of Medicine or Osteopathic Medicine.</li>

<li style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">4 years of post-doctoral experience, to include approved psychiatric residency training programs, in the delivery of mental health treatment to children, adolescents, and/or adults</li>

<li>Licensed by the State of Virginia</li>

<li>Eligible for Board Certification. </li>

<li>Unrestricted DEA license.</li>

<li>

It would be great if you had:

<li>Board certified in Psychiatry</li>

<li>Addiction-credentialed physician or physician with experience in addiction medicine</li>

<li>Experience working with children, youth, and their families</li>
