Prefer that the candidate has Oncology RN experience 1-2yrs. Prefer that the candidate has at least 3-5yrs of RN experience. Ideal candidate has previous experience in the Clinic setting >2yrs as a RN. Ideal candidate has either supervisor experience or has been a lead, UNL or a charge nurse in the past.
The RN Supervisor will be responsible for the coordination and oversight of day-to-day clinical and operational activities within the oncology clinic settings at the Carle Cancer Institute. This role provides nursing leadership, clinical oversight, and operational support to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care. The supervisor coordinates staffing, scheduling, and is accountable for all timekeeping and staff performance evals. In collaboration with manager, is responsible for interviewing, hiring, and terminating staff. Must ensure high quality and cost-effective department performance and perform staff functions.
