Responsibilities

Responsible For

• Assists the physician in the performance of invasive cardiac/electrophysiology procedures. Has thorough knowledge of all Cath Lab/EP Equipment and maintenance of it and administers direct/indirect care to patients undergoing invasive cardiac procedures.
• Able to provide direct and indirect cardiovascular clinical care during established procedures.

Qualifications

Minimum Education Required

Registered Nurse (RN), Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 2 years Cath Lab Tech Experience MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW: Depending on the education held above, one of the following is required:

RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure

RCIS - Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist

RCES - Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: BCLS and ACLS
