Directs and manages the care of designated patients Utilizes effective and appropriate communication styles Assists in maintaining a safe work environment and maintains clinical and professional competency as appropriate to the population of patients served
Job Duties Performs a comprehensive subjective and objective assessment using standardized assessment tools to gain pertinent details about the patients overall health, well-being, abilities, and living environment; performs on-going assessment of physical, psychosocial, and environmental parameters
Delivers patient care based on the medical plan of treatment established by the physician and protocols using a patient family centered approach Reviews, evaluates, and as appropriate, revises the established plan of care for each patient
Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team and other members of the patients care team in assessing and supporting psychosocial needs of the patient/family members/caregiver

Promotes shared governance, facility decision making activities, and developing and nurturing research to positively affect clinical outcomes and promotion Utilizes appropriate resources to plan, provide, and sustain evidence-based nursing services that are safe, effective, and fiscally responsible
Directs and guides ancillary personnel and maintains standards of professional nursing.
Specialized Diploma Nursing 1 year Recent direct care experience in a healthcare setting. Ability to build comprehensive reports and effectively convey information to others. Ability to deal with crisis situations and make independent judgments.
