To improve the health of the communities we serve through contemporary, innovative, quality healthcare solutions Schedule: Full-Time Nights | 36 hours per week About Us - Orthopedics Located on the fourth floor of the Tower at Freeman Hospital West 29-bed unit providing post-operative care to adult patients following Orthopedic trauma, head injury, and scheduled joint or spine surgery We provide a patient-centered approach to helping patients return to their best by coordinating efforts with our therapy team to help ensure a successful recovery Our focus is on building a team-centered work environment where compassion is key, patient safety is paramount, and you will have the ability to make a difference in the lives of your patients and their families What You’ll Do In Conjunction With The Medical Plan Of Care, Independently Performs Systematic And Continuous Assessment Of The Physical, Emotional, Clinical, And Psychosocial Needs Of Assigned Patients And Families; Plans And Implements Appropriate Interventions; And Evaluates Effectiveness And Adjusts Plan As Indicated In A Timely Manner In The Provision Of Safe And Effective Care.

Requirements

Current Missouri Registered Nurse License Or Current Registered Nurse License From A Compact State If A Compact License Is Held, It Must Be In The Nurses State Of Residence. •If No Experience As An RN Or LPN In A Hospital Setting Or It Has Been More Than 5 Years Since Last Worked In A Hospital Setting, Nurses Must Successfully Pass Patient Care Orientation (PCO) Within 30 Days. •Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification Preferred. •ASLS Preferred, But Not Required. •AHA BLS For Healthcare Providers Within 60 Days. •NIH Stroke Scale Certification Within 365 Days. •RN Competency Day Annually By Transcript Due Date.

Preferred Requirements
