Registered Nurse – Pediatric Hematology/Oncology/BMT

Plans, provides, and monitors individualized nursing care in response to specific patient needs within a defined scope or practice, following established policies, and regulations. Supports a defined population program or service. Reports to departmental management.

Provides inpatient and outpatient care for children, adolescents, and young adults diagnosed with cancer, sickle cell disease, and blood disorders

Attentive to all types of cancer diagnoses. Administering chemotherapy, blood components, fluid/electrolyte replacements and oncology treatments. Assessing patient conditions, managing side effects, offering emotional support to patients and their families. This traveler should display appropriate prioritization skills in a fast-paced setting.
