City of Hope’s growing national system includes its Los Angeles campus, a network of clinical care locations across Southern California, a new cancer center in Orange County, California, and cancer treatment centers and outpatient facilities in the Atlanta, Chicago and Phoenix areas

The successful candidate: Schedule: 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM every Monday and Wednesday at the Downtown Chicago location One rotating 12-hour shift at the Zion, IL location No weekends, No call Position Summary The CT Technologist is a professional caregiver responsible for providing high-quality CT imaging services while delivering exceptional patient care in a compassionate and safe environment

This role promotes radiation safety, operates CT imaging equipment to produce diagnostic-quality images, and ensures adherence to all safety, quality, and patient care standards.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Perform CT imaging procedures while fostering a caring, patient-centered environment. Promote and maintain radiation safety practices for patients, staff, and visitors. Operate CT imaging equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images. Demonstrate safe, effective, and compassionate patient care throughout the imaging process. Follow established departmental policies, procedures, and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support patient care and diagnostic needs.

Minimum Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology. Minimum one (1) year of experience performing CT scans. Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Current Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA) license. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment.
  • Experience in an oncology or hospital-based imaging setting preferred. City of Hope is an equal opportunity employer.
