About the Role

As a Hospice Aide , you will provide personal care and comfort to patients under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. You’ll assist with daily living activities, observe and report patient conditions, and ensure a safe and supportive environment for patients and families.

Key Responsibilities

Perform personal care needs promptly and respectfully Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding Take and record vital signs as directed Provide skin care and prevent tissue breakdown Assist with ambulation and prescribed exercises Maintain cleanliness and order in the patient’s living area Offer respite care for families and caregivers Document care provided and observations accurately Qualifications: Active Home Health Aide Certification through the California Department of Public Health Understanding of hospice philosophy and comfort with end-of-life care Ability to read and follow written instructions and document care Empathy for the needs of the ill, injured, and frail Current CPR certification Valid driver’s license and insured, reliable vehicle About Seaport Hospice Seaport Hospice is part of the Pennant Group , a nationwide network with over 300 locations
