About The Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Strategic Finance & Business Operations team at a high-growth pre-IPO startup. As a key member of a small (but mighty) team supporting over 2,000 colleagues, you will partner cross-functionally as a trusted advisor to various leaders and teams across Verkada to drive business insights, decision-making rigor, and operational excellence, helping us reach the next level of scale and operating sophistication in the process. This role is based in San Mateo, California.

What You'll Do

• Be the primary Finance business partner to several of our senior leaders
• Drive financial planning, budgeting, reporting, and ad hoc analysis for these teams, helping us improve our overall financial discipline and predictability
• Identify opportunities to optimize resource allocation and operating efficiency, and work cross-functionally to tackle critical change projects to realize these opportunities
• Help us operate the business at the next level of scale through better tooling, self-serve automation, and internal processes

What You Bring

• 3-5+ years of top tier professional experience. You’re coming to us from a Strategic Finance, Business Operations, FP&A, or other highly analytical role at a fast growing startup, and may have begun your career in investing, management consulting, and/or investment banking.
