About The Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join a lean but growing Strategic Finance & Business Operations team at a high-growth pre-IPO startup. You will play a critical role as an analytical thought partner to various leaders and teams across Verkada to drive business insights, decision-making rigor, and operational excellence, helping us reach the next level of scale and operating sophistication in the process. Depending on interest, we currently have roles open in both our Product and GTM pillars.

In this role, you will:

• Be the primary business partner to several of our senior leaders
• Drive financial planning and budgeting as the accountable owner for key portions of our several hundred million dollar budget
• Define the management dashboard / key operating metrics that help us understand the health of our business, and generate deep insights around our performance
• Identify opportunities to improve resource allocation and operating efficiency, and work cross-functionally to tackle critical change projects to realize these opportunities
• Help us operate the business at the next level of scale through better tooling, self-serve automation, and internal processes

We’re looking for:

• 2-6+ years of top tier professional experience. You’re coming to us from a Strategic Finance, Business Operations, Sales Operations, FP&A, or other highly analytical role at a fast growing company, and may have begun your career in investing, management consulting, and/or investment banking.
