Senior Software Engineer, Fullstack (Consumer Engineering)

The Consumer Growth Experience Engineering (CGX) team builds the platforms and end-to-end experiences that power Affirm's consumer growth across push, email, app, and web channels.

As Senior Software Engineer, Fullstack, you'll lead engineering efforts to deliver quarterly goals, solve ambiguous growth problems, and turn strategy into measurable outcomes at scale. You'll own scalable, reliable tooling and consumer experiences that enable rapid go-to-market while improving conversion, activation, and long-term customer value.

Responsibilities

• Own and deliver quarterly goals for your team, guiding engineers through ambiguity on open-ended problems and ensuring consistent support throughout delivery
• Collaborate across product management, design, and analytics through the development lifecycle—participate in ideation, articulate technical constraints, and partner on decisions that weigh risks and trade-offs
• Identify and advocate for project, process, technology, and business issues; lead efforts to solve them
• Maintain operations and availability of team systems by creating and monitoring metrics, escalating issues as needed, and participating in on-call rotations
• Build a culture of quality and ownership by setting or improving code review and design standards, and promoting them through writing and tech talks
• Develop talent on your team through feedback, guidance, and example

Requirements

• Proven experience leading significant mobile initiatives (React Native or native), including architecture definition, cross-functional launch coordination, and maintaining high reliability in production
