Job Description

Affirm is reinventing credit to make it more honest and friendly, giving consumers the flexibility to buy now and pay later without hidden fees or compounding interest. We're seeking a Strategic Finance Manager to join our Revenue Finance team, supporting our Horizontal business lines. In this role, you'll own consolidated top-line forecasting, partner across Credit, Capital, Analytics, and Investor Relations, and serve as a strategic thought partner to senior leadership on portfolio performance and business growth opportunities.

About the Role

As a member of the Strategic Finance team, you'll play a central role in shaping company strategy and enabling executive decision-making. The Revenue Finance group is a high-impact, lean team with broad cross-functional ownership. You'll operate at the intersection of financial planning, performance management, and business strategy—proactively generating insights that drive action and inform innovation while identifying opportunities to scale the business efficiently and profitably.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary finance partner to Credit, Capital, Product, and Investor Relations; represent Revenue Finance in key forums and drive alignment on performance and priorities
  • Build and own assumption-driven User and portfolio loan mix models by partnering cross-functionally to validate inputs, pressure-test key drivers, and ensure outputs reflect current business dynamics
  • Monitor performance against forecast across portfolio, user, and segment levels; diagnose variances, identify root causes, and deliver forward-looking insights on user trends and overall loan portfolio to inform adjustments and drive action
  • Own consolidated reporting across Top of Funnel, Conversion, Users, Volume, and Loan Mix; synthesize key drivers including mix, credit, pricing, and commercial impacts
  • Provide decision support on strategic initiatives, evaluating trade-offs and P&L implications to inform business and investment decisions
  • Translate complex analyses into clear, executive-ready narratives that drive insight and inform strategy
