Strategic Finance Analyst II (Revenue)

Affirm is reinventing credit to make it more honest and friendly, giving consumers the flexibility to buy now and pay later without hidden fees or compounding interest. We're seeking a Strategic Finance Analyst II to join our Revenue Finance team, supporting the growth of Affirm's B2B merchant partnerships through financial modeling, forecasting, and strategic analytics. This high-visibility role reports to the Revenue Finance group and requires strong technical skills paired with the ability to influence decision-making across the organization.

About the Finance Team

The Finance team ensures Affirm remains financially sound and strategically positioned for growth. We manage financial planning, accounting, pricing, vendor management, tax, investor relations, and corporate development. The team delivers timely insights, accurate reporting, and careful analysis to support executive decision-making—from day-to-day operations to major investments.

Responsibilities

• Partner with cross-functional leaders across Product, Growth Analytics, Credit, Revenue, and Merchant Pricing to drive business outcomes through strategic and analytic support
• Build and maintain financial models to forecast, reconcile, and analyze variances across key metrics
• Collaborate with the ML modeling team to integrate financial models with aggregated machine learning forecasts
• Establish top-line performance metrics and targets; analyze and report realized financial performance to executives and company leaders; drive accountability for results
• Design and deliver scalable, automated dashboards and analytics tools for cross-departmental and executive use

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in fast-paced analytical roles such as strategic finance, investment banking, consulting, data science, or analytics
• Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex financial information
• Strong ownership, intellectual curiosity, and the ability to think creatively and critically
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and often ambiguous work environment
