Strategic Finance Analyst II (Revenue)

Affirm is reinventing credit to make it more honest and friendly, giving consumers the flexibility to buy now and pay later without any hidden fees or compounding interest. We're seeking a Strategic Finance Analyst II to support revenue growth across our B2B merchant partnerships. This role sits within the Revenue Finance group and combines financial modeling, forecasting, and cross-functional analytics to drive executive decision-making.

About the Role

The Revenue Finance team drives company strategy by delivering real-time forecasts and analytics that empower leadership decisions and guide Affirm toward its growth objectives. This is a high-impact, highly visible position within a scrappy, tight-knit team that has outsized cross-functional influence. You'll partner with Product, Growth Analytics, Credit, Revenue, and Merchant Pricing leaders to translate business strategy into financial insights and accountability. Success requires both strong technical skills and the interpersonal ability to influence and present to all organizational levels.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with cross-functional leaders across Product, Growth Analytics, Credit, Revenue, and Merchant Pricing to drive business outcomes through strategic and analytic support
  • Build and maintain financial models to forecast, reconcile, and analyze variances across key metrics
  • Collaborate with the ML modeling team to integrate your financial forecasts with aggregated machine learning predictions
  • Establish top-line performance metrics and targets; analyze and report realized financial performance to executives and company leadership; drive accountability for results
  • Design and deliver scalable, automated dashboards and analytics for cross-departmental and executive consumption

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in fast-paced analytical roles (strategic finance, investment banking, consulting, data science, analytics, or similar)
  • Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex financial information into clear, concise reports
  • Strong sense of ownership, intellectual curiosity, and critical thinking; ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and ambiguous environment
  • Demonstrated ability to think creatively and approach problems from multiple angles
