Software Engineer II, Backend (Test Infra)

We're seeking a Software Engineer II with strong test automation expertise to join our Test Platform Engineering team and help scale our testing infrastructure to support hundreds of engineers.

About the Role

The Test Infra team empowers developers to efficiently write, run, analyze, and maintain automated tests. In this role, you'll build and evolve the core testing infrastructure supporting engineering productivity across the organization. Your work will directly impact how teams develop, validate, and deliver high-quality software. You'll design scalable, reliable, developer-friendly test automation solutions and CI pipelines, enabling teams to deliver changes with confidence and receive fast, actionable feedback. You'll collaborate with the Engineering Manager and team members in Europe to continuously improve quality.

Responsibilities

• Own, improve, and maintain integration and end-to-end test automation frameworks and their associated CI pipelines
• Design and implement technical solutions to optimize test execution time and enhance test stability
• Write technical specifications, architecture decision records (ADRs), and contribute to technical solution design across the engineering organization
• Support engineering teams by assisting with triage requests and sharing best practices for quality assurance and test automation
• Contribute to the evolution of the company's overall test strategy
• Break down larger projects into individual tasks, deliver work in phases, and collaborate with others to ensure timely completion
• Participate in on-call rotation for test infrastructure support
