Software Engineer II, Backend (Test Infra)

We're seeking a Software Engineer II with strong test automation expertise to join our Test Infrastructure team and drive developer productivity across the organization. You'll design and maintain the testing frameworks and CI pipelines that empower hundreds of engineers to develop and deliver high-quality software with confidence.

About the Role

As a Software Engineer II in Test Platform Engineering, you'll own core testing infrastructure and CI/CD systems that directly impact engineering velocity. Your focus will be on building scalable, reliable test automation solutions—both frontend and backend—that enable teams to receive fast, actionable feedback. You'll collaborate with the Engineering Manager and team members across Europe to continuously improve testing capabilities and quality assurance practices.

Responsibilities

• Own, improve, and maintain integration and E2E test automation frameworks along with their associated CI pipelines
• Design and implement technical solutions to optimize test execution time and enhance test stability
• Write technical specifications, ADRs, and contribute to technical solution design across the organization
• Support engineering teams through triage requests and share best practices for quality assurance and test automation
• Contribute to the evolution of the company's overall test strategy
• Break down larger projects into individual tasks, deliver work in phases, and collaborate to ensure timely completion
• Participate in an on-call rotation

Requirements

• Strong experience in test automation and test infrastructure
• Experience designing and maintaining test automation frameworks
• Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines and test orchestration
• Ability to write clear technical specifications and contribute to architectural decisions
• Collaborative mindset with ability to support and mentor other engineering teams
