Job Description

Affirm is reinventing credit to make it more honest and friendly. We're seeking a Senior Manager, Key Accounts Sales to lead our strategic merchant partnerships across Travel, New Markets, and Canada. In this role, you'll oversee a team of experienced Account Executives managing relationships with major hospitality, travel, and retail partners while executing go-to-market strategies that drive measurable growth.

About the Role

As Senior Manager of Key Accounts Sales (US + Canada), you'll report to the Director & Head of Key & Enterprise Sales and lead a portfolio of strategic opportunities spanning Travel, New Markets, and all Key accounts in Canada. You'll manage 6 experienced Account Executives while building and maintaining executive relationships with Affirm's largest merchants across airlines, OTAs, hotels, car rentals, cruises, healthcare, and leading Canadian accounts. This leadership position requires executing go-to-market plans in partnership with senior leadership, guiding complex commercial negotiations, and translating strategy into measurable business results.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of mid-to-senior-level Key and Enterprise Account Executives; support their strategies for winning new business and expanding existing partnerships
  • Own executive stakeholder management for your segment—communicate progress and risks, align on tradeoffs, and enable senior leadership decision-making; lead negotiations at the executive level with strategic partners
  • Execute and refine the US Travel & New Markets and Key Canada go-to-market plans; partner with Sales Operations and Revenue Operations to improve forecasting, operational effectiveness, and team performance through segmentation, coverage models, and pipeline management
  • Lead cross-functional deal orchestration for priority opportunities, building alignment across Legal, Product, Risk, and Client Success to address complex deal requirements and drive successful outcomes
  • Navigate complex commercial situations by balancing merchant needs, business objectives, operational constraints, and risk considerations to make informed decisions
  • Support hiring, onboarding, and performance calibration for your team in partnership with sales leadership
