Senior Director, Product Management

Affirm seeks a Senior Director of Product Management to lead the Affirm Card and Card Platform—a strategic product domain encompassing consumer debit and pay-over-time experiences, platform infrastructure for card issuance and authorization, and partner integrations. This is a pillar-level leadership role responsible for defining multi-year strategy, building and scaling a product management team, and driving business outcomes across card products serving US consumers and international markets. The position is remote within the US.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute multi-year vision for Affirm Card products, including consumer experience, growth strategy, and unit economics
• Lead US direct-to-consumer card products (physical Affirm Cards and in-app virtual cards)
• Oversee Card Platform domain, including authorization, ledgering, servicing, controls, and partner integrations supporting domestic and international operations
• Translate company strategy into coherent roadmaps spanning multiple product teams and systems
• Build, develop, and scale a team of product managers and product leaders
• Establish product standards, operating cadence, and decision frameworks for the domain
• Own financial and operational metrics including GMV, engagement, unit economics, and credit outcomes
• Shape investment strategy, prioritize tradeoffs, and allocate resources across multiple product areas
• Partner with Finance and Credit functions on strategy optimization and performance management

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience as a Director or Senior Director of Product Management at a fintech, financial services, or high-complexity B2C technology company
• Proven track record building and scaling product management organizations and developing PM talent
• Experience owning end-to-end product domains with cross-functional dependencies (design, engineering, analytics, operations)
• Experience with payment systems, card products, or consumer financial products
• Ability to define strategy, establish operating frameworks, and drive execution across multiple teams
