Senior Software Engineer, Fullstack (International)

Affirm is reinventing credit to make it more honest and friendly, offering consumers flexible payment options without hidden fees or compounding interest. The International Accelerator Engineering team is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to join our full-stack team based in Europe, working on Direct-to-Consumer products serving Canada, the UK, and future international markets. You'll help shape how millions of people access transparent financial tools.

Responsibilities

• Own and deliver quarterly goals for your team, guiding engineers through ambiguity to solve complex problems while ensuring team support throughout execution
• Collaborate across product management, design, and analytics through ideation, articulating technical constraints, and partnering on decisions that weigh risks and trade-offs
• Proactively identify and advocate for solutions to project, process, technology, and business issues
• Support operations and availability of team systems by creating and monitoring metrics, escalating issues, and contributing to on-call rotations
• Establish and elevate code review and design standards across your team and the broader organization through documentation and technical talks
• Develop team talent through feedback, guidance, and leading by example
• Build and operate Direct-to-Consumer products like the Affirm App, shipping code to production that serves millions across multiple geographies while measuring impact

Requirements

• 4+ years of software engineering experience
• Full-stack development capability
• Experience with agile, fast-paced environments and rapid iteration
• Strong ownership mindset, curiosity, and ability to context-switch effectively
• Demonstrated ability to work at scale and mentor other engineers
