Games are becoming an increasingly important way for people to connect, participate, create, and build daily habits online. On Reddit, games can be more than standalone experiences: they can be part of communities, fandoms, creator ecosystems, developer platforms, social loops, and new forms of participation.
The Games Ecosystem team is focused on helping Reddit become a better place to discover, play, discuss, create, and grow games and game-adjacent community experiences
This work can include player-facing experiences, fan communities, creator and developer tools, game discovery, social mechanics, community programs, platform capabilities, marketplace-style surfaces, and the systems that help high-quality games and experiences reach the right audiences.
Success means building an ecosystem where players find games they want to return to, communities become more participatory, and creators or developers can build compelling Reddit-native experiences with less friction.
We are looking for a Principal/Staff Product Manager to lead strategy for Reddits Games Ecosystem. This person will help define how games become a durable part of Reddits community and creator platform, while keeping the role broad enough to span both consumer/fandom experiences and developer/creator ecosystem work.
The right PM will be able to bridge multiple worlds: players and fans, communities and moderators, creators and developers, platform and product teams, and internal and external partners. They should be comfortable with consumer product strategy, community dynamics, creator ecosystems, technical platform tradeoffs, and ambiguous growth loops.
