About the job

Twilio is seeking a motivated Strategic Sourcing Senior Manager with experience in indirect sourcing (tech and corporate sourcing) to support a subset of our categories such as Software, Sales and Marketing, External Workforce, Professional Services, HR, Events, and Travel

The candidate should have strong procurement skills, analytical and financial acumen and communication capabilities with a hands-on passion to dive-deep into the details while also developing the overall category strategy

Additionally, candidate must have skills in managing large-scale procurement improvement projects, the ability to quickly navigate complex negotiations, and a strong contracting capabilities.

Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll

Develop plans on cost savings strategies for various categories – primarily focusing on sourcing and qualification of third-party vendors, and supplier consolidation to high value vendors

Partner with stakeholders to fully understand business roadmaps and create sourcing pipeline & developing supplier strategy / plan for your categories Gaining understanding of industry trends to mak
