Airbnb’s mission is to create a world where people can Belong Anywhere. As we grow to achieve that mission, we’re looking to add a technical, hands-on, and mission-driven Technical Program Manager (TPM) for the Payments team.

A person in this role will partner with our Payments organization to provide a cohesive set of technology offerings that enable everything related to moving money in Airbnb’s global marketplace - moving billions of dollars, in 191 countries, across 75 currencies, through a complex ecosystem of payments partners

Within Payments Tech, we have Payments Platform, Compliance & Operations, Payments Engineering Services, and Payments Data Engineering These programs work together to deliver reliable systems that allow guests and Hosts to make and receive payments with clarity and ease

As our payments platform grows we’ll be adding new payment partners, global licenses, compliance and regulation controls, and building new payment experiences for our guests and hosts.

This role is deeply cross-organization, as projects will span across a wide surface area, and building positive relationships across a multitude of technical teams will be essential to the success of this leader

We are looking for candidates who share our passion for tackling complexity head-on while supporting and growing a world class team of Technical Program Managers

In addition to helping their team deliver predictable, consistent program execution, this leader should have a strong sense of ownership and ability to think and work strategically with a variety of stakeholders.
