What youll do Were building a new team within Brexs Travel group to own a defined part of our next-generation travel experience, and were looking for the Engineering Manager to build and lead it

This is a rare from-scratch opportunity: a large strategic investment, a clean slate on team shape and roadmap, and high autonomy to define how the team works.

Part of your job is deciding what the job is The broader Travel group covers a lot of ground, and one of your first and most important tasks is to help shape this teams mandate within that bigger picture — what it owns, where its boundaries sit, and where it should focus to have the most impact

Youll start with a small existing group and grow it through hiring into the team that carries this part of travel forward.

Youll set the technical and product direction for the team, ship a competitive customer-facing product, and build the culture from day one Because the domain is new and the roadmap is yours to shape, product judgment matters as much as technical judgment here — youll be making real calls about what to build and why, not just executing a handed-down plan.
