What you’ll do

As an Account Executive, you will manage a dedicated pipeline of Y Combinator founders, engaging primarily with founders and co-founders across current and recent YC batches. You will embed yourself within the YC community, building relationships early and becoming a trusted presence at the stage where financial infrastructure decisions get made, so that Brex is the natural choice. You will manage a full pipeline and ensure success on every level.

Where you’ll work

This role will be based in our San Francisco office. We are a hybrid environment that combines the energy and connections of being in the office with the benefits and flexibility of working from home. We currently require a minimum of three coordinated days in the office per week, Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. As a perk, we also have up to four weeks per year of fully remote work!

Responsibilities

• Close net new business with a focus on YC-backed companies
• Embed yourself in the YC community - attend YC events, Demo Day, and founder meetups to build relationships early and stay top of mind in the community
• Build a personal brand presence within the YC ecosystem so founders and co-founders know Brex, and you, as the go-to resource for startup banking and spend
• Network directly with founders and co-founders to build trust and generate pipel
