An overview of this role The Purchase team sits within GitLabs Monetization section and owns the end-to-end purchase experience for all GitLab products, including new purchases, add-ons, upgrades, and self-service promotional discounts

As a Staff Fullstack Engineer, you’ll work across the frontend and backend to build the interfaces customers use to buy and expand GitLab, along with the services that process transactions and integrate with billing and customer relationship management (CRM) systems

Because this work can directly affect revenue and involve confidential or financial information, you’ll use strong technical judgment, roll out changes safely and iteratively, and maintain a high bar for reliability and correctness.

This is a technical leadership role for the Purchase team. You’ll help set the technical direction for a unified purchase flow, mentor other engineers, and partner with Product, Design, Billing, and Support to improve how customers buy and grow with GitLab. This role reports to the Engineering Manager, Purchase.
