 Department Details Are you an experienced RN ready to use your clinical expertise in a new way? The Patient Flow team offers a unique opportunity to apply your critical thinking skills in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment—without the physical demands of the bedside
In this straight weekend role, you will have a direct impact on patient care across all three Sanford Fargo campuses— strong clinical decision-making is essential
You will help ensure patients receive the right care, at the right time, in the right location Your inpatient experience and clinical judgment will play a key role in coordinating safe, efficient patient flow across the North Region
As part of the Patient Placement team, you will serve as the central point of contact for providers You will manage incoming calls, coordinate patient transfers, and oversee admissions and transfer activity
You will also monitor real-time and projected bed capacity to support continuous operations throughout the night This role requires strong critical thinking, confidence in decision-making, and the ability to anticipate patient care needs
This position is full time on a straight night schedule It is a challenging and rewarding role for an experienced RN.

Responsible for facilitating continuous throughput of patients from all points of entry by utilizing effective verbal and written communication; must be able to make efficient, effective clinical decisions; and coordinate and deploy ancillary services to needed areas.
Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including, but not limited to, Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA)
Minimum of three years’ clinical experience required Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required within six months of employment
